Sanicare Introduces its First Brand Ambassador, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal Plus Mommy, Kitchen and Beauty Hacks!

When I became a homemaker, I started doing my own grocery. I got acquainted with different products and brands and and as I do it often, I became more aware of the brands I grab from the shelves and I eventually stick with it. One of those brands I am loyal to is Sanicare! My husband is very particular with tissue papers, he wants thick and strong sheets, that's why we always get Sanicare. While R loves their baby wipes because it's in his favorite color, green!

Last July 25, Sanicare invited us mom bloggers to a very intimate event where we got to see the the full range of Sanicare products from the Kitchen Hygiene and Bathroom Hygiene Lines to the Personal Hygiene and Baby Lines. We also got to learn about about cleanliness and hygiene for the family and a few mommy, kitchen and beauty tips and hacks from Sarah Tirona, Frances Sales and Shari Macainag.

The highlight of the event was a big first for Sanicare as well. Sanicare introduced its first ever brand ambassador, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal! I'm a big fan of her! I've read her blog, I have her book, watched her on PBB and now I follow her and her daughter Lucia on her IG stories.

According to Sanicare Marketing Director Ms. Lea Sio Pacis, Bianca is the perfect choice to represent the brand and not just because she has been a long-time Sanicare user. “Bianca represents the moms of today. She is independent and hardworking but her priority is always caring for her husband and baby,” said Ms. Pacis.

The lovely Stephanie Zubiri-Crespi was the host for the event. Her babies are so cute too!

During the Expo Mom last May, one of the booths I spent the most of my shopping time was at the Sanicare booth! I was surprised to see their new product offerings, which is mostly for babies! I bought a Hygiene Kit (includes a roll of tissue, disposable toilet seat cover,..) which I brought to our trip to Ilocos (read about the trip here), so useful especially for bathroom stopovers. 

Bianca raved about her Sanicare favorites which no doubt will also become any mom's favorite, like the Jumbo Cotton Balls. When my kids were babies, I used the ready made cotton balls but they're too small, so sometimes, I buy the big cotton pack and asked my yaya to roll cotton balls while the baby is asleep. Haha! Before the program ended, we had a fun Q&A game to test our hygiene knowledge. Our table was the competitive moms table, hindi pa tapus ang question, may answer na kami agad! Hence, we won tickets to Kidzania! Hahaha! Yay for our kids!!!

We're having so much fun. Halata naman diba? Bungisngis kaming lahat. Hahaha! Thank you Sanicare for our Kidzania tickets. You made us moms happy!

Limitless Sweets and Treats with Cookies Unlimited

I was not really a sweets person until I got pregnant with Y in 2010. My fridge would always have a box of cake, cinnamon rolls, doughnuts, cupcakes... and those cravings turned me into a sweet tooth. Heehee! No regrets! And last month, Cookies Unlimited sent my family boxes and boxes of treats! BOS who's the original sweet tooth in our family is more than happy because he was the one who received the package!

The first time I tried Cookies Unlimited was during our staycation in F1 Hotel Manila. Michelle (of www.mymomfriday.com) brought a canister of their Oatmeal Crisps! It was so good with coffee. Y had a bunch too, my little sweet tooth!

My favorites are the lace crisps! Ooey gooey dark chocolate and hazelnut in between lace cookies plus a cup of my homemade latte and I'm one happy kid!

The Chocolate Crisps were R's favorite! It has just the right sweetness and the kids eat it with milk!

Last but certainly not the least are these Almond Butter Crisps. I love almonds and this is just divine! So buttery just the way I like it!

A&D Finds: Where To Buy Mandals and Birkenstock-inspired Sandals For Kids

Mandals and Birkenstock were the craze of 2014. Were you one of those who fell for this brouhaha? I am! And late last year, I've been on the lookout for a pair for both my kids.

First up, Birkenstock! I was able to check out Res Toe Run last November and saw Birkenstock for kids! I jumped up and down in excitement until I saw how much it was.

It was way out of the budget. Huhu! My heart was breaking as I put back those cute cute tiny Birks.

Then I chanced upon Florsheim Kids at SM Department Store. Price was pocket-friendly at Php1,500 or more a pair. But their smallest size is still big for R. Why does R had to have the cutest feet? Hihi! Didn't buy for Y anymore that time because she had so much shoes na.

When I went to the province last Christmas, I went to SM to have some me-time (read: shopping). And whenever I am at SM, I always make it a point to check out Sugar Babies and Tough Kids at the Shoe Section. You should do! They always have nice selections for kids plus it's comfy and really affordable.

None for boys sayang. But the search is not over!

And last but certainly not the least, Cotton On Kids! They probably have these mandals and Birkenstock-inspired sabdals but I only got to check it out last week. Price is okay too but sizes were broken na.

The search is not over! I've yet to check H&M Kids and I'm hoping Tough Kids will make one for boys! Do your kids own a pair? Share naman where you got them!

A&D Mom Finds: JusTees For Your Little Girls

Here's my recent find from SM Department Store, they really got it all for you! I've been meaning to buy Y some new shirts and pajama sets. There were no cute shirts in HK and I didn't have time to go to the mall the last few weeks until the other day after having a sparty with some SoMoms and lunch at Yabu with Kris, I got the chance to visit the department store! Yay!

While looking for PJs for Y, I saw a cute tee with a panda on it at the SM Kids Fashion section. Y loves pandas. Well, she likes animals in general. When I looked at the price, it was only Php169.75 only! Really reasonable, right? The brand is called JusTees! They got so many cute shirts in different styles and prints! How come I only discovered this now??? Have to check the nearest SM if this is also available there. It's a great alternative to your go-to brand :) I bought three shirts for Y!
