There Are No Perfect Moms, Just Real Ones!

I've been MIA from my blog since November. It seems to be the case every year as I got busier with Paper Chic Studio and the holiday season with 4 stores to supply to. Adding to that, my helper left mi-October which means I had to do all the chores and find a new routine that will work for me so I can still study with the kids and do other things. I had to sacrifice a few things and those were this blog, my work-at-home job and cooking.

Four months later, I still struggle with everything and I haven't really found a routine or schedule that I can follow. I still find doing chores overwhelming, so much chores so little time! There are days where I don't have the time to sweep our floors, too lazy to wash the dishes and there are days where I don't take a bath because I'm just too tired. TRUE STORY! Haha! And this is as real as it gets! There are no perfect moms, just real moms! There's no a guide book on motherhood, we learn from our experiences, listen to our mom's advice and get support from our friends. One thing I've learned early (during my breastfeeding days)  is to trust myself and that trust gave me confidence and strength that I can face any challenges that will be thrown my way.

Sanicare Introduces its First Brand Ambassador, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal Plus Mommy, Kitchen and Beauty Hacks!

When I became a homemaker, I started doing my own grocery. I got acquainted with different products and brands and and as I do it often, I became more aware of the brands I grab from the shelves and I eventually stick with it. One of those brands I am loyal to is Sanicare! My husband is very particular with tissue papers, he wants thick and strong sheets, that's why we always get Sanicare. While R loves their baby wipes because it's in his favorite color, green!

Last July 25, Sanicare invited us mom bloggers to a very intimate event where we got to see the the full range of Sanicare products from the Kitchen Hygiene and Bathroom Hygiene Lines to the Personal Hygiene and Baby Lines. We also got to learn about about cleanliness and hygiene for the family and a few mommy, kitchen and beauty tips and hacks from Sarah Tirona, Frances Sales and Shari Macainag.

The highlight of the event was a big first for Sanicare as well. Sanicare introduced its first ever brand ambassador, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal! I'm a big fan of her! I've read her blog, I have her book, watched her on PBB and now I follow her and her daughter Lucia on her IG stories.

I bought a Hygiene Kit (includes a roll of tissue, disposable toilet seat cover,..) which I brought to our trip to Ilocos (read about the trip here), so useful especially for bathroom stopovers.

We're having so much fun. Halata naman diba? Bungisngis kaming lahat. Hahaha! Thank you Sanicare for our Kidzania tickets. You made us moms happy!

During the launch, a diaper test was conducted to show how absorbent GOO.N diaper is compared to other leading diaper brands in the Philippines. Three diapers (including GOO.N) were soaked in purple water and it showed that GOO.N is the most absorbent. I touched the diapers and GOO.N was almost dry! Galing!

The diaper has a wetness indicator. As you can see above,  there's a line in the middle, the unused one's is yellow while the wet one's indicator changed color.

Back when my kids were little, if I remember it right, there's only one brand that has a pull-up pants and I didn't buy it because I found it expensive. I am more proud of him! BUT because I wanted to test GOO.N for ourselves, I made him wear a diaper when we went out last week (haha!). We were at the mall the whole afternoon and he drank a lot of water.  I was really impressed ha,  no leaks, diaper stayed put and he was running around all afternoon!

Oh Hello Belo Baby!

Say hello to Belo's first ever range of products for the most delicate baby skin, Belo Baby. It was officially launched last week over an intimate lunch at Museum Cafe with Belo Baby's Mombassadors and fellow mommy bloggers.

I was table mates with the SoMoms. We were all thrilled to see each other because we rarely see each other!
