Alaska Launches Disney and Marvel Themed Kids Milk and Yoghurt Drink

One of the many things my kids ask me to buy for them in grocery, aside from their usual snacks like cookies and snacks, is the Alaska Yoghurt Drink. They knew which aisle in the grocery to get them! They really liked it that much! My kids were really sold on Barbie and Hot Wheels characters on the tetra pack! Haha! Now, my kids L-O-V-E Alaska even more because of the Frozen characters and Marvel superheroes theme!
Bought the popsicle maker at Daiso just a week before!
A few weeks ago, I took my kids with me to the launch of the collaboration of Alaska Milk Corporation and Disney and their "Who will you be today?" campaign for kids. It was also my first time to take both kids to an evening event. I thought they would find it boring but they actually had fun and won prizes!
We had our photo taken with Captain America and Ironman! Ang tangkad nila! Heehee! If you must know, Y was in all black because she's Black Widow daw.

During the launch, there was a kids section where the kids get to choose who they want be. They were given of what looks like the drink but printed in a flat thick paper and each drink and character has their corresponding accessories! This can be found at the back of the drink. There's Ironman's mask or repulsor ray, Spiderman's mask or web shooter, Queen Elsa's crown and more!
Thank you to the Ates who helped Y and R cut their accessories! My kids had fun playing with the other kids at the event!

Alaska has been a strong advocate of healthy child development ensuring every child gets proper nutrition! Mommas, rest assured that Alaska Ready-To-Drink Kids milk is healthy and nutritious for our kids.
Alaska's Choco and Sweet Milk drinks have the essentials vitamins and nutrients that support you active kid's lifestyle!
While the Alaska Yoghurt Drink contains naturally fermented good bacteria that aids proper digestion! The yoghurt drink comes in Blueberry and Strawberry flavors!

During the launch, they held several easy games. I'm usually a party pooper haha but R wanted to win something. I think he's really a very competitive person! While Y is the shy type but I still got to encourage her to join and answer and she won a Captain America notebook! I wanted to win the Funko Pop but no luck for me! Haha! The last game they joined was what made my kids' night.
The host just asked them who's their favorite Disney or Marvel character and instant panalo na!
Just look how thrilled my kids are especially the little boy! Haha! Y was super happy she got a new Elsa costume because her current one is small na! R got a Captain America costume but it's big for him so we'll keep it muna!

My kids and their NFF. Hindi naman obvious that my kids are super happy noh?! Haha!

And at the end of the launch, we were all treated to a last full show of Civil War! Were you Team Captain America or Team Ironman? The movie lasted until about 1AM! R fell asleep halfway through the movie while Y fought her sleepiness to finish the movie. Buti na lang she stayed awake, I don't know how will I go to the car pag tulog silang pareho! Haha! Thank you so much Alaska!

We took a lot of Alaska goodies that my kids asked for two packs a day and I also made them into popsicles just because ANG INIT! It's a healthier alternative to ice cream! Oh and school opening is just a month away and Alaska's RTD Milk and Yoghurt drink will surely become a staple baon for my kids!

Disney The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar!

Who here knows Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumbaa or Scar? Yes! They're from The Lion King! My kids have watched the movie several times on Disney Channel and the kids have also watched the The Liong King 2: Simba's Pride and The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata, we have the VCDs (yes, VCD pa haha!) here at home. Now the story continues with "The Lion King: Return of the Roar", a TV movie that premiered last March 20 on Disney Channel in Southeast Asia!
The movie follows Kion, the second son of Simba and Nala. He assumes the role of leader of The Lion Guard, a team of animals tasked with preserving the Pride Lands. The movie leads to a TV series, The Lion Guard, which will premier on April 17 at 8:30AM on Disney Channel!

Last Friday, we were invited to a special screening of the Lion Guard at Toby's Estate at Whitespace!
It was a hot hot day but they were happy to be out and about!
The kids were given coloring sheets while waiting and some Bucky's and coffee for the mommas!
Babycino for Y and Gilbratar for me!

They showed three episodes of The Lion Guard series. Y was glued to the screen while R was making gulo everyone. Boys! Haha! Sorry sa mga na-istorbo niya!
The Lion Guard continues the tradition and music from 1994's award-winning Disney classic The Lion King. It follows the Kion as he assembles the members of the Lion Guard.
The Lion Guard usually comprises of the bravest and strongest lions in the Pride Lands but Kion goes the untraditional way by calling his closest friends who customarily wouldn't have made the cut! Let's meet Kion's best friends, shall we?
Kion is the Fiercest. He possesses the Roar of the Elders, a magical gift that causes the lion spirits of the Pride Lands past to roar with him, making his roar powerful! This gift is traditionally given to the second born, with the last owner being Scar, who used it for evil, hence he lost the gift. His signature line is "Hevi Kabisa" or "Totally Intense" Swahili.
Bunga is the Bravest. He is a fearless honey badger and the adopted nephew of Timon and Pumbaa. He is adventurous and impulsive. He will put himself in harm's way in order to save his friends. His catchphrase is "Zuka Zama", which means "Get up, dive in" in Swahili.
Fuli is the Fastest. She is a confident cheetah. She is the Lion's Guard only female member and is loyal to her friends. Her catchphrase is "Huwezi" which means "You can't (catch me)" in Swahili!
Beshte is the Strongest. He's a happy-go-lucky, friendly and good spirited hippo. His catchphrase is "Twende Kiboko!" which means "Let's go, hippo!" in Swahili.
Ono is the Keenest of Sight. He is on intellectual egret. He has the keenest sight in the Pride Lands, as he can fly above the fight to scout out the situation and give directions. Ono is easy-going, friendly, brave, and a great team-player! His catchphrase is "Hapana!" which means "Oh no!" in Swahili.

Lion King is a Disney class. I think Lion Guard will be a classic as well and a series that will teach our kids a lot of lessons. The series is designed to convey positive lessons about teamwork, community, and diversity, as the Lion Guard learn to utilize their unique abilities to work together in each episode.
Catch The Lion Guard every Sunday 8:30AM starting on April 17!
Thank you Eon for having my little kiddos for the special screening as well as the water tumblers! They've been using it everyday!

The Magic of Disney Baby is Now in the Philippines!

Two weeks ago, Disney unveiled the new Disney Baby brand. Disney Baby promises to provide Filipino parents with quality and a wide range of products. In the early 2012, Disney Baby launched in the United States and since then it has opened Disney Baby Stores throughout the US. And now, the magic of Disney Baby has arrived in the Philippines!
I got excited upon seeing the Century City Events Place decked with Disney everything! I took R with me and he got so excited too when he saw all the toys and how festive the set-up was!
Mickey Mouse beddings and layette.
Disney Baby features classic characters like Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and more! The Minnie Mouse mini sofa bed and Cinderella mini couch will surely be a hit to your little girls!
New mom Patty Laurel-Filart was our hose for that day's event.

“With Disney Baby, families can connect and grow a special lasting bond with our stories and characters. Our unique emotional connection with Filipino families and kids differentiates Disney Baby, when compared to other baby brands as a trusted choice for expectant and new moms,” says Veronica Cabalinan, Country Director, Retail and Licensing, The Walt Disney Company Philippines.
There's also a Minnie Mouse version of the beddings. Disney Baby is now more design-led featuring a more contemporary color palette.

I grew up with Disney and so are my kids now. Our TV is always on Disney Channel (and nobody can changed the channels ha! Magagalit sila) and they also loved watching Disney and Pixar movies! They can name every character even I am amazed on how they know all the names!
White tie-sides and sandos are newborn staples! I remember I had Winnie The Pooh onesies and tie-sides for R when he was born. And the quality was superb!
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse apparel! They're so cute! I'm sure little fans of these famous mice would love to own one of these!
Little socks for little feet!
Sippy cups and tumblers in your favorite Disney characters! R would love that Lightning McQueen one!
Jake The Pirate and Doc McStuffin potty seat trainers!
Booster seats, tableware ans more! Why didn't they have these when my kids were small? Lucky for you new moms right now!
