Bibi Shoes: Brazilian Footwear Brand My Kids are Currently Loving

When my kids have a preference on which shoes to wear, I really don't argue with them. I've learned my lesson well. I've bought a few shoes that they didn't want to wear because it's not comfortable. That's money down the drain. So when it's shoe shopping, I just bring them with me so they can choose which one they want and I am just there to approve haha!

Just recently, my kids and I went to the launch of Bibi Shoes in Rustan's. Bibi is a Brazilian brand that makes stylish and fashionable shoes for kids. Bibi has been around for 65 years, making kid-friendly footwear and developing shoes that feels like you're walking barefoot! I think my kids can attest to the comfort of Bibi Shoes. Ever since getting their new pairs of shoes, it's the only shoes they want to wear these days!
There were arts and crafts stations, kid's nail polish booth and food for kids and kids at heart. My kids thoroughly enjoyed every activity. I had a hard time chasing them around and telling them to pick which shoes they like. Haha!

Gellibean getting her nails done!
From casual shoes to school shoes to party shoes, Bibi has it! They come in different colors and sizes for children up to 7 years old. Bibi is the first children's footwear brand to be certified by the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics and the Brazilian Association of Medicine and Surgery of the Foot and Ankle, as each pair is engineered with Fisioflex Technology. Bibi Shoes is the also first Brazilian footwear brand to receive the Sustainable Origin Silver Seal. Each pair of Bibi Shoes is made with sustainable and non-toxic material making them truly child-safe!

No wonder why my kids love wearing their Bibi Shoes! They've been wearing their Bibi's ever since we got them at the launch. Y has a big feet but they got her size, so happy! Achi is more picky when it comes to comfort and R is the one who like to "porma". They both got what they wanted!
We love Bibi!

Bibi shoes are available at Rustan's Makati and Rustan's Shangri-la Plaza and will soon be available at Playground Stories in Trinoma and Glorietta. You can also check them out online at www.bibiphilippines.com. Don't forget to follow @bibiphilippines on IG and like Bibi Shoes Philippines on Facebook!

Take A Whimsical Step Forward With Mini Melissa

Two weeks ago, my mini me and I went to the launch of Mini Melissa at Geleia, Shangri-la. We get to dress matchy-matchy which we rarely do!

The first time I saw Mini Melissa's were on my nieces' feet, she had several pairs! It was so cute! Its whimsical design makes it so irresistible for moms that they must buy one for their little girls!
Super cute, right?
Mini Melissa, introduced in 2010, was born from the mommy brand Melissa's desire to give the same kind of fashion, style and comfort. Each pair exudes an unforgettably contemporary vibe which is comfortable to wear and practical to use. Mini Melissa takes consideration the fragility and sensitivity of tiny feet.

We get to pick a pair for each of me and Y. OMG, ang hirap pumili! Seriously. I tried several styles and designs.
My picks but not available in my size!
Love love this! Must find this in my size!
These were my final picks. I got the left one. I wanted the right one but no size too.

The Mini Melissa's were so cute! I wanted a pair for Y but she has big feet! She doesn't fit the Mini Melissa line anymore. :( She wears the Teens line na. Please make big sizes for Mini Melissa, Melissa! Heehee! But she found her pair which she loves and calls it her Elsa shoes!
She loves her Melissa Ultragirl Sweet II Teens! She wore them with her Elsa Dress during our Halloween getaway!

During the launch, kids got to design their own passport holders! Ant's Pocket made the craft kit which the kids had fun designing them!
Y hard at work. Hihi!

Thank you Melissa for a wonderful afternoon! It's always fun to be with mommy bloggers and our kids getting together.

Seychelles Popped!

I had my very first pair of Seychelles when I was on college. I had someone bought it for me in the US. I remember it was a white peep toe flats with little gold details. I loved that pair! And I'm so happy that Seychelles (the shoe brand not the island hihi) is now here in Manila!

Seychelles had its first pop up three weeks ago at Itsie-Bitsie Rockwell. Founded in 194, Seychelles started out as a collection of cowboy boots and Italian jeweled sandals but changed direction in the early 2000. Currently, they are know for making perfectly styled vintage-inspired favorites that is perfect for an everyday shoes!
I loved how the shoes were set-up!
The Spring/Summer 2013 Collection has a wide range of ultra-femme yet on trend and comfortable footwear. I like how they name each of their shoe style.
Ramblin's Ways - I want the one at the back!
Lusting over you!
Know What I Mean - basic flats
Thyme in Whiskey color
Risky Business - I like the black one!
Turning Point and Fearless
Fearless in Black
