Belo Baby Review and Giveaway!

It has been a month since the Belo Baby launch and we have been religiously using the Belo Baby Hair and Body Wash and Face and Body Lotion ever since! It's really been hot the last few weeks and the kids have been taking more baths than usual. All I can say is Belo Baby works wonders on our skin!

The first time we tried the body wash and face and body lotion was on our trip to Narra Hill. Our trip was just a few days after the launch so I excitedly pack them in our overnighter bag.

Y is always excited for bath time. Since I am helper-less, I've been training Y to be more independent and one of the things I am training her is to learn to take a bath on her own. Start them young, right? My kids were used to using baby shampoo that bubbles so when Y tried the Belo Baby Hair and Body Wash, she was surprised why it wasn't bubbly. I explained to her that Belo Baby's has natural ingredients (like special leaves and flowers, heehee). She likes the scent, she said she smells like a baby! Haha! I really like the mild scent too!

I usually don't put lotion on my kids during summer because they don't like the sticky feeling but apparently, heat can cause dry skin din pala! I also tried using the body wash and lotion on me too. I have skin eczema and it's really hard to find a mild soap that doesn't irritate my skin and won't cause any itch after bath. I am happy to say that with constant use of the body wash together with the body lotion, I haven't had any skin eczema flare-ups yet. I'm really glad I have found alternatives, no need to buy lotion or body wash abroad! Hooray for homegrown brands!

Lucky Buntis I Was

I never really believed the phrase "swerte ang buntis" until with this pregnancy.


I join blog giveaways only when I like/want/need/love the product being given away. I don't expect to win because I'm not really lucky in any kind raffles or contests... Until when I was pregnant with R!


First was I won a Manila Baby Shop's lunch box from Martine's giveaway! We have been using this for Y's food, milk and snacks for short trips to the mall.

My ZALORA Wishlist

Now that I'm nearing my due date, all I'm busy is about buying is the baby's stuff, and preparing for the big arrival! There are still a lot on my list that I need to cross out! How I wish I can shop for myself now but I have to put that on hold for now! Needs first before wants! But who says I can stop  from "window" shopping online? Right?

I've been checking out Zalora a lot the past few weeks. Checking out clothes or shoes I can wear after I give birth. Hihi... I love that local brands can now be bought online.. and baby things too!!! So much more convenient and best of all, it's mommy, breastfeeding, and cloth diapering friendly!

Who says breastfeeding and fashion don't mix? I love this dress! It's so girly and versatile, I can wear it to the mall or attend a party in this! I can already see myself wearing this dress! I'll be breastfeeding baby#2 like I did with Y so I need all the nursing clothes I can buy.

I love this blouse, it looks so light and breezy plus the fact that I can nurse my baby easily with its overlap style! Hit two birds with one stone right?!

I've long been looking for a diaper bag that can double as my own bag for when we go out with the kids without a yaya and I don't have to lug two bags (my bag and a diaper bag)! With all the compartments and changing mat included, this bag is IT!

With the baby#2, we'll cloth diaper him and avoid using disposables (save Mother Earth!) as much as we can, even challenged myself to cloth diaper him even when going out! So this wet bag is very essential to a successful cloth diaper-ing career which I intend to have! And it doesn't hurt that it comes in a very cute design! I can also use this for wet clothes and swimsuits!

So, there's my very mommy list! It has more NEEDs than WANTs pa din! There's so much more I want to add but these five are pretty much what I need after giving birth.
