A&D Eats: Buendia Food By The Court

A new food concept has popped up in Makati! Combining two favorite past times of Filipinos, eating and basketball. SUDECO (Subic Bay Development & Industrial Estate Corporation) created something of not the usual and the first of its kind in Makati, Buendia Food by the Court.

Buendia Food by the Court opened its doors to the media last February 8, giving us a taste of what the food park offers. Buendia Food by the Court is just 10 minutes away from Makati Central Business District, a great place for after-work basketball game, a hang out place to wind down and just chill after a day at the office or when you and your foodie friends want to try something new, bring them here.
With its wide array of well curated food options, Buendia Food by the Court has something to offer for everyone. From Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Mexican to Indonesian food, your options are endless!

A&D Eats: Paradise Dynasty at S Maison Mall, Conrad Hotel

If you have been a reader of this blog, you would know why my blog's name has "dumplings" in it. It's because I LOVE DUMPLINGS in all shapes and kinds and xiao long bao is one of them! So when Marj invited me to try Paradise Dynasty, I said YES! Marj said we can bring a plus one so I invited Y's Ninang G to be my date. It was my first time as S Maison Mall and it feels like I've been transported to Hong Kong! It's a really nice and small mall beside Conrad Hotel, if you don't like crowded malls, this is a great alternative to Power Plant where we always frequent. Paradise Dynasty is located on the 2nd floor, it's easy to locate because well the mall is small.
Paradise Dynasty first opened its doors last November 9, 2016. It is a casual dining restaurant that serves affordable selection of northern and southern Chinese cuisine. It currently has seven restaurants in Singapore, with overseas presence in Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.

Unlimited Yum Cha for only Php600 at Jasmine, New World Makati!

I can't say NO to good food, so when Patty of Non Stop Babble invited some of the SoMoms for taste of Jasmine at New World Makati.

I love Jasmine's interior! Upon entering you'll see a big teapot(?) which I thought was for display only but it was really working (caution: HOT!). There's displays of tea on one side and of alcohol drinks on the other side.
Everyone was excited for the lafangan that was about to happen that lunch. I love Dim Sum and it was my first time to try this dim sum buffet!

Dim sum lovers are in for a daily mid-day treat from now until May 31, 2013. New World Makati Hotel’s fine Cantonese restaurant, Jasmine, is featuring unlimited servings of freshly prepared dim sum, handmade by the resident expert chef Wong and his talented crew.

Have a fill of sweet and savory steamed buns, succulent dumplings, crispy fried spring rolls, and baked delights, plus a choice of tea or soda for PHP600* per person. On the weekend, diners can opt to indulge and match the dim sum feast with a glass of sparkling wine for a total of PHP950* per person

*All prices indicated exclude service charge.

Wok Fried Beef Tenderloin, Ginger, Green Peppercorn and Spring Onions - this one melts in your mouth. O-M-G!
All of us are trying to not eat rice because we already ate so much but these dishes needs to be paired with rice! As in NEED! They're so good, seriously! I was shy to ask for rice but when the rice was served, kain din ako!!!
Egg White Fried Rice with Scallops
This was my plate!
And to cap off our sumptuous lunch, dessert was served!
