Sticking to a fitness routine or activity isn't one of my forte. I've fallen off and joined the diet bandwagon so many times and it wasn't until last year when an FB chat turned into a pilates meet-up the next day and has blossomed into so much more than just getting fit together.

Meet my #TeamMom, my pilates-mates: Jackie, Chessy and Michelle!

Motherhood isn't easy. There are challenges along the way, there's ups and downs, there's laughter, I think I've experienced the most emotions when I became a mom. When I gave birth to Y, I was the first to become a mom among my friends. I didn't have a mommy support group and it wasn't until I started blogging and tweeting that I met my online-turned-into-real-life friends and support group. 

Our FB chat is more than just conversation about pilates, it's about motherhood, shopping, yaya problems and anything under the sun and there's totally no judgement. We are each other's inspiration and motivation. If it isn't for these moms, I don't think I wouldn't have what it takes to maintain pilates. Seriously! I don't live in the same area as them and the pilates studio, so it's really an effort on my part but it's really all worth it. Expo Mom celebrates its tenth year this 2017, the longest running of its kind. This year Expo Mom pay tribute to #TeamMoms that have served as a lifeline for mothers all over the Philippines. Expo Mom 2016: The Motherhood Journey + a Giveaway!

When I was a new mom, I'm grateful there's Mommy Mundo and Expo Mom. I'm a mom of two pre-schoolers! I still can't believe that R will be in big school already this coming school year. I no longer have a baby at home. Haha! I'm excited but at the same time very emotional about this new milestone. He'll be celebrating his first birthday in school and there will be a lot of firsts for him this year! With the two of them now at this stage, I already know the dynamics. Being yaya-less on/off for a year made me a more independent mom, sometimes it's still hard to handle situations when the both of them are being difficult! Haha! It's really a journey, a challenging but exciting one!

The Project Mom Favorite Finds Fair, Exhibit and Mother's Day Event at Glorietta + Win A Special Pass for the Mother's Day Event!

From April 17 to May 10, Ayala Malls, Avida Land, OLX Philippines together with Project Moms' Amanda Griffin-Jacob and Bianca Araneta-Elizalde celebrates Mother's Day with three pocket events.

The Project Mom Favorite Finds Exhibit, which will run from April 17 to May 10, 2015 in Glorietta 1 and 4, will showcase items and services, hand-picked by the Project Mom authors, Ms. Amanda Griffin-Jacob and Ms. Bianca Araneta-Elizalde. This will be a mix of those featured in the book and those curated by both moms.

The Project Mom Favorite Finds Fair will bring together purveyors of one-of-a-kind products for moms, families and home. It will run every Fridays to Sundays from April 17 to May 10, 2015 in Glorietta 1 and 4.

Last Saturday, I attended the media launch at the Avida Land Showroom in Glorietta. I along with my mommy friends got to take a sneak peek on what The Project Mom in Glorietta has in store for us!

The ever so gorgeous Bianca Araneta-Elizalde and our host for that day, Nyko Maca. Bianca talked about how the book started and how has it helped a lot of moms.

On display were some of the Amanda and Bianca's favorite mom finds! Some of them I've loved when I became a mom and some were new discoveries!

And one of the new discoveries was Little Luli! Love the display! I want those dresses and shirt for my kids. And the fabric is super soft!

A showcase of Melissa Shoes, one of the most comfortable shoes there is! I know a lot of moms at least own a pair!

Then there's a bar cart full of Mustela goodies!

Abre Linea bags. Everyone needs a bag like this!

Messy Baby, a line of natural, safe and non-toxic baby products. I like their Bug Repellent Cologne which I've use on myself and the kids.

Ysabel's Daughter is another new discovery. They smell so good! They're also all natural and synthetics-free bath and body products.

And while I was busy taking photos and making chika with the other moms, I was thankful that there's the Little Harvard Academy booth where Y spent all afternoon doing arts and crafts! Thank you Teacher Katherine for entertaining Y. Heehee!

At first she didn't want to do arts and crafts, but after her first creation, she didn't want to leave na! Haha!

We also got to make our own tote bags at Alessandra Lanot's Tote Bag Stamping Station!

I had to change my order the day after I tried the brand of diaper I ordered was not as absorbent. They reply fast thru email and called me right away on my phone to confirm the changes.
