Mini Sparty at The Nail Room, Libis

Nail spas are my haven. For a busy mom like me, a treat to the nail spa is well a TREAT! It's my downtime, me-time and it can also be a way to bond with your friends (a.k.a chismisan!) Just like what a few of the SoMoms had a month back at The Nail Room Libis!

They prepared this lovely setup for us. Ang shala lang! Heehee! I love the interior of the place. Just the right decor and colors. The Nail Room is perfect for intimate sparty, it can seat nine people at a time.

I love that they have a wide selection of nail polishes! And they have Chanel!

We seriously had a hard time choosing what polish to use!

Siyempre a sparty will not be a party pag walang food! Lafang lafang muna before we get our feet soaked and hands painted!

May sparkling wine pa with cherries!

And while having all this pampering, their very nice and attentive staff offered us dessert. The cupcake was calling us from our seats!

Service was super great! My nail polish didn't bubble unlike what I've experience with other nail spas! I would definitely go back when I'm in the area!

Spa Escape at Blanca De China Lifestyle and Spa

One of things that keeps me going back to one place whether it's a restaurant, a store or a spa is the ambiance. Like this newly opened spa in San Juan, Blanca de China Lifestyle and Spa. 

Once you go in, you know you're in the right place! Everything is white and immaculate. Parang ayaw ko ng umalis!

The area here is for your mani and pedi sessions. Sarap mag-chikahan in this cozy place!

I love their buntings! I wanted to take this home with me!

Every nook has a little something. I love every detail you can see in this spa!

They serve ice cream!

I surely felt like royalty when I sat on that chair hihi!

They have one private room in the first floor which is used for facials, waxing and threading services.

I was having my much needed massage that day and massage rooms were upstairs. I love the stairway going upstairs! Lahat na lang love! Because I really really liked the place. I hope they can maintain and keep the place clean and white!

There are four rooms upstairs for massages, facials and other services.

I had a great Swedish massage. I think I dozed off in the middle of the massage. The only complain I have is I can hear noise from the street. I hope they can sound proof the rooms. They only have one shower/bathroom upstairs, you can opt to have a shower or not. I somehow expected this so I took a shower right before leaving the house para "medyo bagong ligo" pa ako when I get there. Hehe! But other than that, I had a lovely experience!

They serve biscuits and tea after your little escape to bliss. Don't you love little extras? Makes your stay extra special!

Afternoon Pampering at Manos Nail Lounge

Spent one Tuesday afternoon at Manos Nail Lounge for a nail sparty with other mom bloggers (will post another entry about the event!).

I've been hearing a lot about Manos Nail Lounge and I've been checking their website ever since I got the invite to the nail sparty. I was in dire need of a mani and pedi and this was the first time I went to a nail salon after giving birth (4 months ago).

Here's a tidbit about Manos!

From Press Kit:MANOS (literally "hands" in Spanish) is the brainchild of three friends that wanted to create a unique spa experience by being one that offered more than just pampering and relaxation -- but also promoted social and environmental consciousness.

What I liked about Manos is that it's cozy and gives you a homey feeling! I love that they have their own cafe/bar where you can order coffee, iced tea, cocktails and more! Now let me you a tour to the place!

Another tidbit: All of their furniture and decorative items are sourced locally! I love how they support and showcase the local industry.

For those times when you want some private pampering session and want to muni-muni hehe! But these chairs are turned around during events and sparties like when we're there.

For that afternoon, I chose to have the Signature Manos Spa and Manos Iced tea as my choice of drink! You can their menu and rates here, here, and here!

I had a super relaxing foot spa! In the middle of my session, Jackie arrived! Yay! May ka-chikahan na ako! We had a hard time from choosing our choice of nail polish! They have Zoya, Essie, and Chanel! Manos only use formahydelyde, toulene, and DBP-Free nail polish brands. So it's totally safe! Zoya is a vegan brand pala, it's camphor-free as well!

I also had my eyebrows thread and we (Jackie and I) had our nails done too! I was there for 4 hours! Haha! Major pampering talaga! We were the last ones to leave hehe! Making it a more fun experience were the Manos girls who were really nice and great, ma-chika din sila! It was really a treat! Thank you and sorry to the people from the PR company who waited!
