It's All About Karimadon

Karen of Karimadon invited the SoMoms one afternoon to their Megamall store.
Kagulo ang mga SoMoms hihi

I knew about Karimadon since high school but I never really went in until a few years back when I was looking for a gown to wear for my sister's wedding. I was pregnant then so I couldn't fit into any of the dresses because of my belly hihi. I'm glad I was able to revisit Karimadon again.
KARIMADON was established in 198O by Husband and Wife Team, Richard and Josie Go, originally as a modest ready-to-wear boutique for women.  Customers were impressed with the quality and designs of the clothes offered which eventually led to a continued increase in loyal customer base.  Because of this, Mr. and Mrs. Go expanded the KARIMADON store to accommodate more merchandise and provide the needs of its growing customers. Soon after, that small KARIMADON store had become a popular apparel brand in the prime malls of Metro-Manila for women’s fashion needs.
The name KARIMADON is the acronym of the first names of the children of Mr. and Mrs. Go. To date, the brand has grown to 16 stand- alone stores, (2 of which are franchise owned) located in the prime malls of the country and 4 outlets found inside popular department stores.
I love the range of dresses that they have. From cocktail dresses to long gowns, you definitely can find something that tickles your fancy!
Dresses that can be worn to a wedding or business meeting
Row of jersey dresses!
Textures and more textures!
Another thing that is great about Karimadon dresses are they very affordable. Their dresses are well structured and versatile.
Everyone loved the jumpsuit on the right
The SoMoms were able to choose and try on dresses! Oooh we had fun browsing through the racks of Karimadon!
Ang shala don't you think? Go to the nearest Karimadon and shop na!!!

Thank you Karen and Karimadon for having the SoMoms!

To date Karimadon has 16 STORES: Glorietta 5, Ayala Trinoma Mall, Ayala Center Cebu, Ayala Marquee Mall, SM Megamall, SM City North Edsa, SM Centerpoint, SM Fairview , SM Bacoor, SM Marilao, SM Pampanga, SM Cebu, Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Metro-East, Robinsons Place Ermita, Sta. Walnut Melbourne Philippines

I find it hard to look for comfy shoes for my kids. Y doesn't tell me when she feels uncomfortable with her shoes or if it's painful. Makikita ko na lang may paltos. That's why I don't settle for anything less especially when it comes to quality and comfort. I'm glad there are more children's shoe brands are coming out in the Philippine market.
We were introduced to Walnut Melbourne!

Walnut is one of the Australian brands that Lemon Myrtle has to offer. With a focus on children’s shoes, this up and coming brand gives a fashionable twist to a very well made and comfortable pair of both girls and boys shoes. Styles from ballerinas, to sandals, and sneakers are just an example of the range that it has to offer to children and their parent’s discerning eye.

An intimate afternoon merienda was held at mary Grace Cafe for the SoMoms and SoKids!
Walnut's line of shoes
There's so many styles to choose from and I like that the front part of the shoes is rubberized. Expeically with Y who walks paharap, the front part gets "pudpod" agad or gets torn.
See how it folds? No doubt these shoes are comfy!
Can you guess what did I get for Yukie?

Internationally you can find walnut in Australia in their more affluent department stores such as David Jones. While you can also find them in specialty children’s stores such as Shoes And Sox, Funky Kids, and Lou Lou Trends to name a few. Walnut is also available in international countries such as Hong Kong, and Singapore. Locally it is available in Rustan’s, Shoe-thing, and Baby land branches.

And of course, with the SoMoms, a mini event like this can turn into a mini shopping party! Prices range from Php1,795 - Php2,395
and size is from 24 to 36.
Here's Donya MFO with Xavi!

Thank you Christine for hosting this fun shopping party for us hihi! Will definitely buy one for my boy when he can fit into your smallest size hihi!

Pretty in Pink

About 2 months ago, I was able to meet Nelly See, the woman behind Pinkbox. She's super nice and pretty as well. She told us how Pinkbox came all about. It was the year 2002 when Nelly, then a stay-at-home mom couldn't find cute and nice hair accessories for her little girl. It was all accidental but look at Pinkbox now! Fast forward today, Pinkbox now has over 40 retail locations!
The fab Ms. Nelly See! I wanna be as fab as her when I grow up!
To launch their new brand ambassador as well as announce their new line and services, the #SoMoms were invited to an afternoon merienda at Zarzuela at the new Shangrila Plaza East Wing.
I brought Y with me but she was still warming up kaya ganyan ang fez.
Here's Auntie Jackie and Gabbie!
Tita K of Live Love Lolz hosted the event that afternoon.
Here's Liz Lanuzo, Brand Manager of Pinbox with Tita K talking about the new exciting things from Pinbox

This year, Pinkbox decided to come out with handmade accessories and and styling services! Exciting right? A Kiddie Salon will surely be a big hit for your little girl's party! There's also the Li'l Belle Infant Line for your little darlings.
Pinbox now also have their own handmade collection that are made in limited quantities only.
Handmade Bows
Pinkbox also launched its brand ambassador! It's none other than Verniece Enciso.
Verniece is a model, fashion blogger, student, ice skater and now the new brand ambassador of Pinkbox. Verniece has been using Pinkbox accessories ever since she could remember. True enough, her outfit posts would always feature her latest favorites from the brand. She masterfully mixes her looks with her favorite Pinkbox accessories - headbands, clips, necklaces, and bangles never fail to decorate her outfits.
If Pinkbox were a person, she would be none other than Verniece. The fresh, girly vibe and love for fun colors and prints are shared by both. She is the brand’s muse and Brand Ambassador, a
partnership that has been years in the making.
Congratulations Pinkbox!
But of course, the highlight for that day was Y winning the Best Dressed Award! Really! Even I was surprise when Liz announced Y's name! Hihi!
Thank you! We won Pinkbox GCs which we haven't used yet. :)
With Tita K, Liz Lanuzo, Y and me!
