Easter Eggventure With My Pirates at Century City Mall

We have always stayed-in in Manila during Holy Week. BOS doesn't like getting stuck in traffic or going to crowded places, in short, he won't enjoy so we always stay in Manila where there is no traffic! And every Easter Sunday, hotels and malls have all this bonggang Easter events. We only started joining the egg hunts last year and this year we joined Century City Mall's Eggventure Island! And I got to be with my mommy friends this year too!
I was so excited to dress my kids up in their pirate costumes! I borrowed R's costume pa from my sister who has a baul of costumes ata hehe! For Y, I just used whatever she had plus my scarf (good thing I used to have a thing for anything with skulls!) and she had an instant costume!

We had lunch at home before going to Century City Mall. We arrived around 1:30PM and there was already a long line at the registration area. Fortunately, we were able to pre-register and we were able to get our treasure maps and tickets right away! R fell asleep in the car so he joined us with BOS later on during the egg hunt.

Fleur and I went together with Anika and Y for the egg hunt! We first went to the 1st floor and there was a lot of eggs at the al fresco dining area! Then we worked our way up to the Golden Cave area which I think was the wrong strategy hahaha! When we got to the Golden Cave, the golden eggs were all gone na! But it was okay, the kids had fun looking for eggs, feeling nila gold lahat ng nakuha nila! Heehee!

R finally joined us! He loved his "pi-wate" costume by the way. He didn't want to take it off even when we're home already!
After hunting for eggs, we went back to the activity area to catch the Pirate Show. My kids just wanted to stay at the bouncing pirate ship! We had snowcones to cool us down while waiting for the kids. There were other booths too like popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, and balloon twisting. But we didn't line up for the face painting and balloon twisting anymore because the line was so long!

And finally, after the Pirate Show, it was time to claim our prizes from the egg hunt! For the unmarked eggs, we got candies! For the eggs with brand names, we got tokens and GCs! Yay!

It was a crazy event! Some got mad because didn't get to do the egg hunt the first round because some were still lined up at the registration when the egg hunt started. Hoping for a more organized event next year!

Ahoy Matey! Set Sail to Century City Mall's Eggventure Island on Easter!

I'm so excited to dress my kids in their pirate costumes and bring my them to Century City Mall's Easter celebration, Eggventure Island! Arrrrr!
Happening on April 5, 2015 from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the 4th Level Activity Area

The Eggventure Island will of course include an egg hunt, activity booths, and a pirate show featuring fire eaters, magicians, and balloon twisting. Activity booths include a bouncy ship as well as popcorn, snowcone, and cotton candy booths.

The map for the Easter Egg Hunt will be distributed starting at 1:30 pm. The kids can hunt for three different ​kinds of eggs – the Golden Eggs, Regular Eggs – hidden in pocket areas, and Tenant-sponsored eggs, which are hidden in participating tenant stores. The prizes for the golden eggs are as follows: Main Golden Egg – iPad Mini; smaller Golden Eggs – Php 1,000 GC from Toys R Us. The kids will then be able to exchange the eggs for their corresponding prizes at the Loot Booth.

The Pirate Show will start at 2:30 pm. There will be an awarding for the Best Costume, Best Hunter, and the winners of the Golden Eggs after the Pirate Show.

A Happy Hot Happy Easter!

We skipped Easter festivities last year but this year we went full force and joined not one but two Easter events! Ambisyosa ang nanay!
We went to Blue Leaf Filipanas's Easter Carnival in the morning then to Greenbelt's Easter Party in the afternoon.

This was R's first Easter event and Y's second one but first time to join the Easter Egg Hunt so you see why I was an overachieving mother. Hehe!
It was my first time to go to THe Blue Leaf Filipinas and it was really huge, a great place to have your parties, weddings, and other special occasions.
Nice outdoor area for your garden party or for cocktails!

Two huge inflatables fit the place! There were also two smaller inflatables ones which R had a blast playing at!

I have no photos of the egg hunting because I was carrying R while egg hunting. We also didn't bring a basket or anything to put the eggs in so mega panic when we were egg hunting! I only have photos of the eggs hahaha!

There was also a magic show. I was feeding Y lunch so no photos din heehee! The kids had so much fun at the  slides and inflatables! We stayed for awhile after eating because the little one won't leave the little inflatable!

We left Blue Leaf Filipinas around 1PM and off to Greenbelt we went! From an air conditioned place to a super hot outdoor event, it was a bit of torture, but when it's all about the kids, I don't complain!

By 3PM, we went to Greenbelt 2 Park where the Eggziting Egg Hunt will happen. Y was super excited! The rules were get the same eggs as the color of your bucket. We had pink and green but since parents can't accompany the kids mean R can't join the hunt :( So it was only Y. It was her first time (read my other entry about this emotional moment for me here) but I'm super proud that she was able to follow the instructions but since purple is one of her favorite colors, she got purple eggs too haha!

We got so much candies now at home! Haha!Apparently, we won for the most crafty bunny but we already left kasi it was so hot I don't want to stay longer anymore. Hehe! We had a hot and fun Easter. We'll probably join again next year and hopefully pwede na si R!

Easter Carnivals At The Blue Leaf Events Pavilion and The Blue Leaf Filipinas

Got Easter plans yet? I'm very excited because it will R's first Easter event! We skipped the Easter fun last year because I was busy planning for R's first birthday, this year I'm making time. Yayyy!

 The Blue Leaf Events Pavilion and The Blue Leaf Filipinas will each have a whole day Easter event on April 20, 2014. Save the date na! Ticket rates are only Php600 for kids and Php400 for adults!

Just a few reminders and answers to questions you might have!
- Kids are allowed only to join on the chosen schedule.  There would be color coding to distinguish kids.  A kid can only join one time.
- Only kids from the bracket of 1-4 segment are allowed to bring ONLY one companion
- If a kid doesn't want to join the Easter egg hunting, you only need to pay Php400 and doesn't get a stub for the Easter egg hunt.
