A&D's Top Picks at The Mommy Mundo Bazaar + My Loot

Visited The Mommy Mundo Bazaar last Sunday. I really look forward to Mommy Mundo Bazaar and Expo Mom every year (no joke, no biased ha) ever since my first pregnancy and this year was no exception! They always have great stuff for expectant moms, nursing moms, for babies and kids!

Before doing some shopping, I dropped off Y and yaya at the "play area" with some of the other SoMoms' kids. :) Jackie and baby Juro was my shopping buddy for the day!

Pretty mommy and cutie pie Juro!
For maternity wear, nursing bras, tops, dresses, and paraphernalia, Mommy Matters, Mamaway and Mama.Baby.Love are your pit stops!
I want to own a Dizzy Dress. But find their price a bit steep. Maybe when Y's bigger, I'd buy one. Hmmm..
I've been obsessing about shoes for myself and even for my kids so these local brands of shoes didn't escape my radar. Hihi..
Pretty and chic for the little feet! Tot Couture shoes! I think I should have bought that cap toe flats for Y.
I've been hearing raves about Tip Tap Soft Soles from fellow SoMoms. I want to buy the little loafers for R!
The Little Red Shoes where I bought Y a pair of denim sandals! Check my loot photo at the end of this post!
Saw this studded flats from Ambishoes! They'll also have one for your little girl. I want!
More and more organic clothing line and sleepwear are becoming available in Manila and one of them is Omma Organics. I want the neck pillow but they don't have stocks :(
Jackie and I also visited Baby K'Tan's booth. They got some Ikea items for sale! :) Jackie went balistic, well ako din! Haha! #ayawumamin

Ooh, I also visited Wonderworld Toys booth but I don't have a photo with me. I picked up my online order which is a gift to my nephew/godson! I love their toys! Hindi din kami makaalis agad sa booth na yon! LOL

And last but definitely not the least, my last stop was Mommy Treats! I picked up my lactation brownies from Paola! They were sold out already when I got there! Galing!!!
And for my loot that day...
Denim Sandals for Y, Grandma's Goo Remover and Mom 24/7 Planner for me, Red Sneakers and Hat for R!

Did you go to the bazaar? What did you buy? Share naman! :)

Can't wait for the line up of events and activities by Mommy Mundo next year! Congratulations again Janice! :)

Weekend, Baby!

Weekends are always precious for me. It's my only time to spend with the family, see my friends, my parents, my nephew and niece.

Saturday morning play time with Y. I'm so glad I bought these play food from IKEA during my recent trip! I think I enjoy them more than Y! :)

I gave R a bath. And I remembered I haven't taken R's monthly photo, hence this very baduy photo. I always wanted to have a photo of  R wrapped in a towel only. Nagmamadali kasi, kaya ayan! Not so nice. Bawi tayo next month!
There are days or time in a day that R cries straight for 3 minutes. Not the irritating kind of cry but because he wants to be carried. I always tell the BOS to wear him na lang, ayaw niya. Last Saturday, he tried it. Ayun natuwa. R was so cute!

Later that afternoon, I went out with the kids to see my HS barkada. My friends since elementary! We traveled to Pasig.. traveled talaga kasi it's so far away from us, buti na lang there's no traffic! We just hanged out at their new place. I played with my inaanak which is just a month older than R.

Y enjoyed the big space. I brought her toys with us so she won't get bored. R was super behaved as usual. He just slept in the high chair/napper/rocker. We chatted over Happy Lemon and Tostitos and had dinner later that night and went home at 10PM. :)

Where Y played. Katakot fez ni yaya
Goddaughter, C!
Cutie pie Y!
My well-behaved boy
Sunday, we had lunch at Buffet 101. No photos. Hay.. Y was so difficult. I had to write a separate post on that. She won't eat or just sit down. She'll cry and she wants to be carried ALL THE FREAKING TIME. I can't eat properly. My body and arms are aching from all the carrying.

After lunch, we went to the Mobler sale and bought Y an easel. A super belated birthday gift. I want to buy it when I was in Hong Kong, buti na lang hinde. My mom would have killed me haha!

I wanted also wanted to buy a chair and table but found it a bit expensive na, it was not on sale. I'll save muna then go back for those or ask a friend in SG to buy it for me!

How about you? How's your weekend?

Hong Kong Sojourn Part 2

This was our view from our room.
Woke up around 8AM. We took our baths and ate a light breakfast (bread from Wellcome and milk). Mom and achi went to the bank while I stayed at the hotel and watched CSI, Jane By Design and Glee on TV. But then I got hungry, so I went to IKEA just below our hotel, went around to see what I can buy then bought Swedish Meatballs (9HKD for 5pcs) and coffee (HKD7 with 1 free refill) and brought it back in our room.
I stayed here the longest time, thinking of what I should get for the kids.
They were done in the bank by lunch so we walked to Din Tai Fung near Regal Hotel and had our lunch. One of the best meals I had on this trip!
They did the ordering. Taga-lamon lang ako. Hehe!
Instruction how to eat xiao long bao
Duck's Tongue... Uhmm hindi ko type.
Cold Soya Milk!
Pork Xiao Long Bao. DA BEST!
Siomai
Sarap this noodles!
Nothing special about this porkchop but the rice was yum!
We had a very filling lunch. I enjoyed eating there. It's the best xiao long bao I've tasted so far! After having lunch, we rode the MTR going to Tsim Sa Tsui. We went to few stores that sells pre-loved designer bags, watch stores, and shopped at H&M in Silvercord where I bought Y a lot of clothes.

Then we went to this DFS building where they again browsed bags and watches. I really have no interest on these kinds of things. I really have no patience while they loved going from one store to another! :p
And by the time we went to Ocean Terminal, we need to pump again. We went to their Baby Center to pump. It's probably one of the nicest breastfeeding station I've been! Take a look at the photos!
There's 3 private rooms like this where you can pump and feed. There's also a common place outside.
It's cozy! There's also a wash area, play area and changing area. Didn't take photos anymore as there were people inside. After pumping, we saw this crepe place, Mazazu Crepe!
We had the peaches and cream and strawberry with ice cream crepes! It's super yummy! Mazazu Crepe is a franchise of a Japanese crepe chain. Their soft serve ice cream is famous too. A bit expensive but promise, it's nothing like the local one we have. Hehe :)

On our way back to ride the MTR back to Causeway Bay, we passed by a Jean-Paul Hevin store, which I remembered I read about from Chuvaness
This was in Harbour City.
We tried out their macarons, chocolate, pistachio and vanilla. I had the chocolate, which tastes like heaven! Walang sinabi the local macarons I've tried. It's super moist and soft!
We also bought chocolate lollipops which until now I haven't eaten. I'll share the lollipop with the BOS!
We went straight to dinner at Tsui Wah in Causeway Bay after a tiring day at Tsim Sha Tsui. That's it for Part 2!

You can read about Tsui Wah here and my Hong Kong Sojourn Part 1 here! There's still Part 3 about my trip so please stay tuned for that!
