Gingersnaps Celebrates 20 Years!

I don't know a mom who doesn't love Gingersnaps! They always come out with super cute clothes, in style  and very age appropriate. Even their maternity clothes are so chic! And this year they celebrate their 20th anniversary! 

Gingersnaps is built on a deep passion for creating trendy, global, fashion-forward designs for children’s and maternity wear. Started in 1993 as a modest corner in a department store in the Philippines, Gingersnaps has quickly grown to 38 department store corners and 77 boutiques in seven countries, namely Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.

Gingersnaps celebrates its 20th year with a fashion show and a model search. All of the SoMoms were invited to the grand event. All the SoKids were dressed in Gingersnpas of course!

Jerry Uy, president of Gingersnaps gave the opening remarks. He told how Gingersnaps all started. They opened their first store in Glorietta, a small humble store. And look at them now!

Truly a very inspiring story for a start-up business like mine!

OMG! Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012

Yes it's that time of the year again! I don't know how they top the previous year's fashion show but they do! Grabe. This year's performers are Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Bruno Mars. I'm so excited to watch this!

Ang sexy nila. I wanna have a body like theirs (ASA! Libre naman mangarap at walang basagan ng trip! LOL)

I Can Be So Lucky!

Can't think of a nice title so I used the line from Kylie Minogue's song... Hehe

Last Wednesday, August 15, 2012 was the grand launch of Lucky Chinatown. I was lucky (see what I just did there?! LOL) enough to be invited! And lucky that I live near the mall so I didn't have to take the shuttle that was offered. I left 9:25AM here and got to the mall in 20 minutes!

I was kind of worried that I would be alone and not know anyone when I got there. I was tweeting with April and Jackie before I left home hoping to see them there. I was so relieved when I saw Jackie at the registration booth, I introduced myself. She's so nice and pretty! We clicked instantly and started chatting about pregnancy, breastfeeding, and motherhood.

We were given these lucky charm bracelet to wear! Cute noh?
